Our Harrisburg store opened in 1992 with a simple concept.  Offer more brands than anyone else in the area and guarantee the lowest price.  It was a popular concept.  Our Mechanicsburg store opened in 1994 and Discount Vacuum & Sewing Center has been growing ever since.  Over the years, we've added even more brands of vacuum cleaners and sewing machines, vacuum supplies, sewing notions, and much more.

In 2004, our Harrisburg store doubled in size to accommodate our ever growing product lines.  We are the only stores in the region that carry 19 brands of vacuum cleaners and 7 brands of sewing machines.  Our factory-trained technicians offer reliable, guaranteed repairs on ALL makes of vacuum cleaners and sewing machines with the quickest turnaround time in the area.  Of course, we're also famous for our Guaranteed Lowest Price Policy.
