COCO THE CAT

I'm Coco.  I was born in 1997 and wondered around outside without a home.  Wow, did I ever get sick.  You name it, I had it: worms, fleas, an upper respiratory infection, an eye infection, and more.  My eye infection was so bad, I couldn't see anymore which meant I couldn't find food.  I was just 6 weeks old and was malnourished and started to lose the fur on my head and tail.  One cold winter night it was about 5 degrees and I was sniffing for food around a dumpster in back of Discount Vacuum & Sewing Center's Harrisburg store.

They took me in and fed me and gave me medicine.  I got all better!  My eyesight returned too.  For about 4 years, I lived at the Harrisburg store.  Looking for a change of scenery, I moved to the Mechanicsburg store which is my current home.  I'd love to meet you, but I may be sleeping when you stop in!

This is me at my birthday party!  I got lots of yummy food and some fun toys!

Wow, my birthday was fun!  I need to take a nap.  I have my paw AND my tail covering my nose so I don't get cold.

Here I am at the seminar on the "sewing machine that uses no thread".  Ahhh, so THAT'S how it works!  It's much easier to know what's going on when you're next to the action.

I love curling up in my little round bed.  It's just the right size!

Did you hear about my "incident".   One day, a huge German Shepherd came in.  He was a service dog in training.  It dwarfed me, but I stood in front of him and blocked his path.  The dog stopped, growled, and barked at me.  I held my ground and stared back.  We were literally face to face.  It was a classic stand off.  Something had to give.  It did.  The German Shepherd peed on the floor.  Tee hee!

In the Mechanicsburg store, you can usually find me right here at the counter making sure you get the best deals.

Here I am getting my favorite treats.  I have the staff SO well trained!

This is my favorite cold weather hang out.  It's my heated mat on the front counter.

When you get excited about the great deal you just got, try not to wake me!

I love rolling around on the floor.  I leave fur on the carpet so you can see how well our vacuums pick up pet hair!

Sorry, this Eureka is all mine!  There are many others from which to choose, however.

I checked it out and this looks like a real bargain!

Ok, you've disturbed my sleep one too many times with that camera.  I have claws and I'm not afraid to use them!
